Provocative New Book Exposes Corporate Corruption and Fraud by Both GM and Delphi Corporation
Labor Advocate's Latest Book Out to Exposed How and Why American
Workers, Shareholders and Suppliers Were Duped by GM and
Washington prior to the Economic Meltdown in 2008
Kalamazoo, MI - With the economy continuing to be a daily talking point within the media, by the President, and his GOP challenger, Mill Romney, a new book arrives to show how the foxes guarding the henhouse in D.C. allowed a massive fraud to take place with one of America's legendary businesses, General Motors.
In the new book titled, How Washington D.C. Helped Allow Corporations to Get Away with Fraud, author and labor advocate Pat Meyer's central premise is that General Motors Corporation deliberately defrauded America, its shareholders, and employees while Congress, auditors, regulators and the media shamefully turned a blind eye to what was happening.
Meyer takes a direct, engaging, and at times controversial route from page one to quickly set the stage as to how and why General Motors and Delphi pulled off a massive corporate cover up on not just Congress, but share holders and former employees who were left holding the bag. "Delphi and its parent company General Motors, orchestrated a fraud that was among the most flagrant in U.S. history during a wave of corporate meltdowns," states Meyer. "This meltdown has and is still sparking criminal and regulatory investigations based on the billions of dollars lost by both former Delphi employees and unsuspecting shareholders." she added.
In this latest book, Meyer reveals:

How Washington, D.C. helped allow corporations to get away with fraud
Patricia Meyer, Director of L.A.W.S, Inc., is announcing the release of her 4th book "How Washington, D.C. helped allow corporations to get away with fraud" , General Motors/Delphi Spin Off and Bankruptcies, What can we do about it?"
In 2006 she received an award from Mother Jones honoring all the work she has done over the years to help workers and their families.
Pat is a retired postal worker and a past bargaining representative of the postal union. She began her work in the manufacturing area when one of her daughters, who worked for General Motors, needed help getting transferred back to Michigan. As she became more involved she was approached by many workers and retirees who needed help finding justice. Eventually she organized UAW Concern and later its political arm, L.A.W.S., Inc., a not-for-profit organization working for American workers, retirees and their families.
Pat has been an advocate for workers and retirees in Washington working with our Senators, Congressmen and federal agencies over the past seventeen years to expose corruption in corporations and union leadership where it exists.
Recently she was invited to appear in Judge Robert Drain's court to present information dealing with the GM/Delphi spin-off and bankruptcy.
These experiences have lead to the writing of three earlier books, "You Win ...But Lose, A Must Read for All American Workers", "America: Rightside This", and "Dispute This! America is Crumbling Within, The Keys to Uncovering the Cover-up."
